R0d3nts recognizes three stats: Smarts, Speeds, and Staminas. Each one represents your rat’s talents in different areas and are used in games and activities. A rat’s highest stat at the time of creation determines what line art they will be drawn on.
Stats are always written in the format Smarts / Speeds / Staminas. They might be short-handed to Sm# / Sp# / St#, or just # / # / #, but they will always be represented in that order.
A rat’s stats are improved through experience (EXP), which is earned through participating in shop events, playing EXP Games Guide, or doing Research Projects Guide.
The amount of experience it costs improve a R0d3nt’s stat depends on what level you are trying to improve it to. It costs an amount of experience equal to the level you are trying to raise it to. So if costs one experience to bring a stat up to level 1, and so forth. Stats may only be raised one level at a time.
To spend experience and upgrade your rat’s stats, you need to post in the #🐭-r0d3nt-ledger channel of the Discord server.
It is important to note that we do not track your experience for you. You must keep track of your own experience wins. EXP can only be spent on the r0d3nt that earned it, and all EXP earned at one time must be spent together (you don’t get to keep “extra” EXP).
Occasionally, you may see something reference a r0d3nt’s “stat score”. A stat score is the sum total of how much experience it would take to raise a r0d3nt from 0/0/0 to whatever their current stats are.
<aside> 👍 So a rat with a stat spread of Sm 3 / Sp 2 / St 2 would have a stat score of 12 (6 + 3 + 3).
